DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES? |
|
In 1980 the US hockey team defeated the Russians in what was expressed as “The Miracle on Ice.” The label of miracle was stretched a bit in this case but I believe you will get the point. Most people would not have bet much more then a nickel that the US could have won that game. The problem for the Russians was that the US team apparently had different ideas. They did not know any better and overcame the fear of winning. They were never swayed by the mere fact that they were not supposed to win. The people involved in miracles rarely believe that a miracle occurred at all. They have belief in the outcome from the beginning. Someone always believes that it could happen or it never would. There are many things going on around us today that continuously test our faith. The news tends to lean towards negativity and fear. |

Those that listen and are seduced into believing what others perceive as their own truths become depressed. Misery loves company. Our minds tell us stories. You’ve heard of the person that went out and did something that he wasn’t supposed to be able to because he just didn’t know any better. Most people don’t succeed or don’t even try because they believe that it can’t be done. By eliminating the negative stories and keeping ourselves open to all possibility we invite positive people and events into our lives. Negative attracts negative. Positive attracts positive. Say yes to the possibilities. Check it for yourself. |
