Text Box: Imagine my surprise, and delight, when I received Merle’s article for this month. For awhile now, I had been thinking about running an article of my own asking for information about my house and neighborhood. You see, Tom and Anna Moots are the former owners of my home, and that’s about all I knew, except for three priceless pictures that were given to me by Jean Clark, from whom I bought this house in 1998. I know that my house is approximately 150 years old and has been added on to since the Moots’ lived here. From what I understand, the Moots family owned the first house coming in to town, (now owned by Larry Schultz), and my house. All of the historical pictures that I see of Maiden Rock are in the downtown area and I have yet to see any pictures of my house and neighborhood....out here in the burbs! If anyone has any knowledge of the history of my house, and/or picture of it and the surrounding area, I would
